Jeep safari from the Kundu hotel strip: which departure collects you there

Yes — and the departure that does it is the Antalya city jeep safari, not the Belek one: Kundu is listed among the Antalya belt's pickup areas and not among Belek's. Our transfer vehicles collect you at the main entrance gate of your Kundu resort and bring you to the Park Safari base in Gebiz, where the open-top jeeps start; the day takes approximately 7 hours in the Taurus foothills, the transfer returns you to the same gate, and lunch at our restaurant is included, at €35 per adult. You reserve without a card and pay in euros on the day of the tour.

Kundu on the Antalya pickup list

The Antalya departure is set up for four sub-areas, and Kundu Mevkii is one of them, next to Lara Mevkii, Konyaaltı Mevkii and the city centre. None of the four carries an on-request condition, so a Kundu resort sits inside the scheduled belt. The transfer collects gate by gate before it heads inland to the base, which is why your time is given according to your hotel and confirmed after booking rather than printed here.

The booking directory lists 17 hotels under Kundu Mevkii. Hotels inside the belt, for example: Adalya Elite Lara, Aska Lara Resort & Spa, Asteria Kremlin Palace, IC Hotels Green Palace, Royal Holiday Palace, Titanic Mardan Palace, Venezia Palace Deluxe Resort and WOW Topkapı Palace. They mark the reach of the belt; none is a pickup promise on its own, and none carries a time. A Kundu resort absent from that list is still inside the belt and is booked by typing its name.

Kundu is the eastern edge of the city belt, and the question we hear from guests here is whether they are 'Antalya' or 'Belek'. For the jeep safari, Kundu is Antalya. The pickup belts along the whole coast are set out on one page if your resort name leaves you unsure.

The Antalya day, from a Kundu gate

After the last hotel the transfer heads inland to the Park Safari base in Gebiz. There the guides give the tour and safety briefing, everyone takes a seat, and the open-top jeeps set off in a convoy behind a lead jeep, past the Çığırgan stream and pomegranate orchards to Değirmenburnu village and on via Hacıosmanlar with stream crossings, each jeep with a professional driver and guests as passengers.

From there the day is a sequence of halts: a village house at Hasgebe in the forest, where the guides explain village life and guests are offered sage tea gathered by the villagers; a road at approximately 700 m with panoramic views of Bozburun Mountain; a swim stop in the Haspınar stream at Hastümen; lunch at our restaurant, a rest-and-lunch break of approximately one hour; then, via Değirmenburnu, Akçapınar and Kozan, a 45-minute swim stop at Uçan Waterfall. The Dorumlar village route leads back to the base by the Çığırgan stream, where the tour ends and the transfer drops you at your resort gate — approximately 7 hours end to end. The Lara and Kundu belt page tells the same day for the whole city belt.

Who the day suits

Families are well served here: children aged 4-12 ride at the child rate accompanied by an adult, infants aged 0-3 for nothing, and the swim stops and water fights are what the children talk about afterwards. Adults, from 13 up, get the mountain views and the village house.

What the day asks of you: a tolerance for rough tracks (pregnant guests and anyone with back or neck problems should skip it and tell us before boarding), clothes you do not mind soaking in summer, and the knowledge that winter runs switch to covered jeeps without the water games. In the bag: swimwear worn under your clothes, closed shoes for wet and dust, a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, a hat, a waterproof pouch for the phone.

Reserving from a Kundu resort

Three things to book the Antalya departure from Kundu: a date, the number of adults and children, and the resort name. No card is asked for online. Cancelling is free up to 48 hours before departure, and the amount is handed over in euros on the day of the tour.

The day is guided in English, German, Russian and Turkish. Large Kundu resorts sometimes have more than one entrance; the main entrance gate is the standard meeting point, and if yours is ambiguous, say so on WhatsApp at +90 536 603 75 84 and the spot is confirmed with the time.

Kundu's neighbours: Kadriye to the east, Konyaaltı to the west

East of Kundu the golf coast begins and the belt changes: Kadriye is collected by the Belek departure, which runs the same Park Safari day but is booked separately, with its own pickup list. A guest in Kadriye should read the Kadriye page and book that departure rather than this one.

West of Kundu, past Lara and the city centre, Konyaaltı is on the same Antalya departure as Kundu. The Konyaaltı page adds the city-centre and old-town hotels to the picture.

Questions

Questions about this tour

Is my hotel in Kundu collected?
Yes. Kundu Mevkii is one of the four sub-areas the Antalya departure is set up for, and none of the four is conditional. Type the resort name into the form and be at the main entrance gate at the time you are sent.
Is Kundu part of the Antalya departure or the Belek one?
The Antalya departure. Kundu is the eastern end of the city belt; the Belek belt begins beyond it at Kadriye. The day is the same Park Safari programme on both, but the Belek departure is a separate booking with its own pickup list.
On which days does the jeep safari leave from Kundu?
Daily in season. The date is yours to pick in the booking form; the pickup time for your resort falls out of the city's collection order and arrives in the confirmation.
Can children come from Kundu?
Yes. Between 4 and 12 the booking form charges the child rate and the child travels with an adult; 0-3 is free. Kundu is a strip of family resorts, and the swim stops in the stream and at the waterfall are the part the children remember — hold the small ones on the rough sections.
Do I pay when I reserve?
No. The reservation is free, the form has no card field and nothing is charged in advance. You hand over euros on the day of the tour, and a seat released more than 48 hours before departure costs nothing.
Where exactly do I wait at a large Kundu resort?
At the main entrance gate of the hotel. If your resort has more than one entrance, tell us on WhatsApp and we confirm the spot together with the time.
Do guests drive?
No. You ride: a professional driver takes each jeep from the Park Safari base into the mountains and back, and our transfer vehicle brings you from the Kundu gate to the base and home again. Nobody self-drives on any of the five departures.
