Jeep Safari from Boğazkent: the Eastern End of the Belek Belt

Yes, Boğazkent is a standard pickup area of the Belek jeep safari. Our transfer vehicles collect you at the main entrance gate of your Boğazkent hotel and bring you to the Park Safari base in Gebiz, where the open-top jeeps start; the day takes approximately 7 hours in the Taurus foothills behind the coast, and at the end the transfer brings you back to the same gate. Lunch at our restaurant is included, the adult fare is €35, and nothing is paid until the day itself, in euros.

Boğazkent and the Belek pickup belt

Boğazkent sits at the eastern end of the Belek belt. The Belek departure is set up for nine sub-areas, Boğazkent among them with Belek centre, Kadriye, İskele, Taşlıburun, Üçkumtepesi, Acısu, Denizyaka and İleribaşı, and every one of them is a scheduled stop rather than an on-request one. A Boğazkent hotel therefore sits inside the scheduled belt, with no special arrangement to make.

The booking directory carries 14 hotels under Boğazkent Mevkii. Hotels inside the belt, for example: Aydınbey Famous Resort, Belek Beach Resort Hotel, Crystal Family Resort & Spa, Crystal Waterworld Resort & Spa, Kirman Belazur Resort & Spa, Port Nature Luxury Resort Hotel & Spa, Sherwood Dreams Resort and Throne Seagate Belek. The names show where the belt reaches; they are not individual pickup promises, and no time is attached to any of them. The exact pickup time is confirmed after booking at the hotel's main gate.

A resort on this stretch that is missing from the directory is still in Boğazkent and still inside the belt. Type the name into the form as it appears on your booking, and if you want to check where every departure collects, the coast-wide list is one page away.

What the day looks like from Boğazkent

The transfer is put together hotel by hotel across the belt, so the order of collection sets your time, not a fixed timetable: the pickup time is given according to your hotel and confirmed after booking. The transfer brings you to the starting point of the day, the Park Safari base in Gebiz. There the guides give the tour and safety briefing, everyone takes a seat in the open-top jeeps, and the convoy sets off behind a lead jeep.

The first stretch runs past the Çığırgan stream and pomegranate orchards to the village of Değirmenburnu, then via Hacıosmanlar village, with stream crossings on the way, to a village house at Hasgebe, set among the forest. The open-top jeeps take the crossings in a line, each with a professional driver at the wheel and guests riding as passengers; the full Belek day, with everything it includes, is on the Belek region page.

The village house, the swim stops and lunch

At the village house in Hasgebe there is a photo stop and a break: the guides explain village life and the house itself, and guests are offered sage tea gathered by the villagers. The road then passes at an altitude of approximately 700 m, past village houses and with panoramic views of Bozburun Mountain, to a swim stop in the Haspınar stream at Hastümen, and then to lunch at our restaurant, with a rest-and-lunch break of approximately one hour. In summer the jeeps also fight each other with water, so the summer version of this day ends with wet clothes.

Drinks at lunch are ordered and paid separately. After lunch the safari continues via Değirmenburnu, Akçapınar and Kozan to Uçan Waterfall, where there is a 45-minute swim stop, then follows the Dorumlar village route to our base by the Çığırgan stream, where the tour ends and the transfer takes you back to your Boğazkent hotel. The return time is arranged to suit the group.

Included and paid on site

One package covers the day, and the number that matters is the adult fare in the short answer at the top of this page. Enter children aged 4-12 in the form and it shows their rate. Weighing Belek against the other regions? All five departure prices compared sit on the price page.

  • Included: pickup and drop-off at Boğazkent hotels and across the Belek belt
  • Included: the day in the mountains with a professional driver in every jeep
  • Included: lunch at our restaurant
  • Included: guiding during the day
  • Not included: drinks
  • Not included: photos and videos taken by the tour team
  • Not included: personal expenses
  • Not included: optional stops that charge an entrance fee, paid on site

Families, couples, and who should sit this one out

The child rate applies from age 4 to 12, accompanied by an adult; under 4 travels free; from 13 everyone pays the adult fare. For families the water fights and the two swim stops are the story of the day; for couples it is the open jeep, the sage tea at the village house and the swim at Uçan Waterfall.

Two cautions. The jeeps do not soften the tracks, so a pregnant guest, or anyone with a back or neck problem, is advised against the day and should tell us before boarding. And the summer version of this day is wet: open jeeps, stream crossings, the water fights and two swim stops. Winter runs switch to covered jeeps and drop the water games. What goes in the bag is below.

  • Swimwear worn under your clothes
  • Closed shoes that can get wet and dusty
  • A towel and a full change of clothes
  • Sunscreen and a hat
  • Something waterproof for your phone

Reserving from Boğazkent

To reserve the Belek jeep safari from Boğazkent you need a date, a head count and the hotel name; there is no card field and no online charge. The fare is settled in euros on the day of the tour, and the guiding is in English, German, Russian and Turkish.

East of Boğazkent: where the Belek belt ends

Beyond Boğazkent the Belek belt stops. The next scheduled departure along the coast is the Side one, and its scheduled areas are Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki and Kumköy; the other villages of that belt — Çolaklı, Gündoğdu, Sorgun, Titreyengöl and Kızılağaç — are on request only and are not promised on any page. If your hotel is out there, ask on WhatsApp with the hotel name before you book, and if you are unsure which of the five departures is yours, the decision page settles it by where you stay.

At the other end of the same belt, towards the city, Kadriye is collected by this same Belek convoy; the Kadriye page has its own hotel list and questions.

Questions

Questions about this tour

Does the jeep safari collect from hotels in Boğazkent?
Yes. Boğazkent is written into the Belek departure as a scheduled sub-area, so nothing has to be arranged for it. Enter the hotel name at booking and stand at the main entrance gate at the time you are given.
Which departure leaves from Boğazkent, and how often?
The Belek departure — the only scheduled convoy that reaches this end of the coast. It runs daily in season, and the pickup time for a Boğazkent hotel is settled once the day's collection order is, which is why it reaches you after you book rather than before.
Can children join from Boğazkent?
Yes. From 4 to 12 a child pays the rate the booking form shows and travels accompanied by an adult; under 4 costs nothing. The water fights and the swim stops are what they come for; on the bumpier stretches, hold them.
My hotel is east of Boğazkent, towards Side. Am I still collected?
Not by the Belek departure. That stretch belongs to the Side departure, whose scheduled areas are Side, Manavgat, Evrenseki and Kumköy; anywhere else on that belt is on request only. Send the hotel name on WhatsApp before booking and we answer for your date; nothing is promised in advance.
Do I pay anything when I reserve?
Nothing at all. There is no deposit and no card box anywhere in the flow. Fares are collected in euros on the day of the tour, and giving a seat back more than 48 hours ahead leaves you owing nothing.
How long is the day from a Boğazkent hotel?
Approximately 7 hours from your hotel gate back to it, including the transfer to and from the Park Safari base, the stream crossings, the village house, the two swim stops and lunch.
Is lunch included, and what about drinks?
Lunch at our restaurant is included. Drinks, at lunch and at the stops, are ordered and paid separately.
Do guests drive the jeeps?
No. Every jeep in the convoy has a professional driver for the whole day, and guests ride as passengers from the Park Safari base and back to it; between your Boğazkent hotel and the base you travel in our transfer vehicles.
