When the departures run
All five departures — Side, Alanya, Belek, the Antalya city belt and Kemer — run daily in season. The only dated season we can quote is the Alanya record's April to November; the other four routes run in season without a start and end date we are prepared to print, and we would rather say so than invent one. The Alanya departure and its season are described on the Alanya page together with the Dim River route.
There are no month pages on this site on purpose. A page for each month would have to say something different about each, and the records give us nothing month-specific beyond the one date range above.
Summer: open-top jeeps, dust and water
Summer is the season the jeep safari is built around. The jeeps run open-top, the tracks are dry and dusty, and the water is the point: water fights between the jeeps on the track, river and stream crossings that send spray over the sides, and a swim or wading stop on each route — the Dim River above Alanya, Oymapınar village above Side, the stream at the Belek lunch, the mountain stream above Kemer, the river stops behind the city belt. You get wet and you cool off.
The heat is the reason for the sunscreen, the hat, the sunglasses and the water bottle on the list, and the water is the reason for the swimwear, the towel and the change of clothes. What to pack for each season is on the packing page; in summer nothing on it is optional.
Spring and autumn
In spring and autumn the departures run in season with the same route, the same stops and the same lunch. Whether a given day runs open-top with water games or covered without them is a decision the operator makes for the season, not something this page can fix to a date; we do not publish the week the fleet changes over. If it matters to you, ask on WhatsApp for the date you have in mind and you will get the answer for that week.
Dress for both possibilities in the shoulder seasons: the closed shoes and the change of clothes stay on the list, and a light layer for the open-top climb costs nothing to carry.
Rain: mud on the tracks and the call to run
Rain changes the surface before it changes the programme. Dusty tracks turn to mud, the drivers slow down, and the muddy water crossings above Kemer get muddier; the tracks after rain are described on the off-road page. We will not pretend that a shower leaves the convoy untouched, because the decision is made on the day, on safety, by the people driving.
If weather makes a day unsafe, it is rescheduled free of charge. Your reservation carries no prepayment and can be cancelled free up to 24 hours before departure, so a change of date costs nothing either way.
Winter: covered jeeps, no water games
On winter runs the fleet switches to covered jeeps. The route, the climb, the village or stream stop and the included lunch stay; the water fights and the swim stops are left out, so the day is drier and quieter. It is still a full day out, and how long the day lasts in each region — approximately 8 hours from Side and Alanya, approximately 7 from the three western belts — does not change with the roof.
Bring closed shoes and a change of clothes anyway: mud is the winter version of dust.
What we do not publish about the weather
No temperatures, no rainfall figures, no water temperatures, no crowd levels and no ranking of months. The question which month suits a jeep safari gets an honest non-answer here: the records describe the day in summer and the day in winter, and nothing in between month by month. Choose the date that fits your holiday and pack for the season you are in.
The same seasonal rule on five belts
Season works the same way on all five departures: open-top in summer with water, covered in winter without it, daily in season, free rescheduling when weather stops a day. What differs between the belts is how much water the summer day holds — a river swim above Alanya, a village swim and an optional lake boat above Side, a stream to wade in above Kemer, a stream to paddle in behind Belek, river stops behind the city belt. Whichever belt you are in, pickup is in the morning from your hotel's main entrance gate, at a time confirmed once you have booked.
Reserving for the date you want
Reserving is free and takes no card: pick the date, tick your pickup area, enter adults and children. If your hotel is in Lara, Kundu, Konyaaltı or the city centre, reserve the Antalya city jeep day; the other four belts have their own forms. You settle up in cash on the day, and if the weather moves the date, the new date costs nothing.
