The Side departure in brief
What you book here is a shared, open-top 4x4 day from the Side resort belt into the mountain country behind Manavgat. It runs daily in season, lasts approximately 8 hours from hotel gate to hotel gate, and it is the same departure our operator, Atalay Tour, runs from Side for its own Side-branded website. The only difference is where you book: this page exists so that a guest who is comparing the whole Antalya coast can reserve the Side day without leaving this site.
It suits couples, families with children aged 4-12 and small groups who want a full day out of the resort without a coach. It is a passenger day: a professional driver sits behind the wheel of every jeep, and guests never drive.
This page is one of five region pages on our site about jeep safari in the Antalya province. If your hotel is not in the Side belt at all, the head page explains which of the five departures serves your part of the coast.
The Side belt is also the only one where a departure adds white water to the same day, with its own pickups from Evrenseki, Kumköy and Manavgat.
Who we collect, and from where
Hotel pickup is included from Side itself, from Manavgat, from Evrenseki and from Kumköy. These four areas are on the standard pickup list for the Side departure and need no special arrangement: give us the hotel name at booking and the jeep collects you from the main entrance gate of your hotel.
Çolaklı, Gündoğdu, Sorgun, Titreyengöl and Kızılağaç are served on request. Write the hotel name in the booking form or on WhatsApp and we confirm for your date; we do not promise these five areas in advance, and we would rather say so here than surprise you on the day itself.
Pickup is in the morning. The exact time depends on where your hotel sits on the route and is confirmed after booking, so please do not plan around a clock time you have seen elsewhere. If your hotel is outside the Side belt, the page on pickup by region along the coast lists every area we collect from between Kemer and Alanya.
The shape of the day, in one paragraph
Once the asphalt runs out, the convoy climbs into the lake and reservoir country above Manavgat: dirt tracks, orchards and fields, stream crossings that get the jeeps and their passengers wet in summer, and a viewpoint high above Green Canyon. Lunch is at a lakeside restaurant and is included. Guests who want an hour on the lake by boat can add it on the day and pay locally; a waterfall stop depends on the day's programme and is not something we promise. That is deliberately all we say about the route on this page: the stop-by-stop version belongs on our Side website, and the next section tells you where to find it.
Where the full Side route is written
Atalay Tour runs a second website dedicated to Side alone, and that is where the Side day is described in depth. If you want to see what the villages, the lake and the canyon country look like before you book, start at our Side jeep safari site, which is built around this single departure rather than the whole coast.
For a reader who wants everything in one place, the complete guide to the Side day walks through the day from pickup to drop-off in one long read. We have not rebuilt that guide here; it would only duplicate it.
And if what you want is the itinerary itself, the Side route stop by stop goes through the day in the order it happens, from the moment the convoy leaves the coast road to the drop-off at your hotel gate. Read it there and come back here to reserve, or reserve on either site: both sell the same departure, run by the same operator.
Booking the Side day on this site
You can reserve the Side jeep safari here: choose the date, enter the number of adults and children, give us the hotel name and a phone number that works on WhatsApp, and send the form. That is the whole reservation; there is no payment step.
No money changes hands online and we never ask for a card. You pay in euros on the day of the tour; should your plans change, a reservation can be dropped at no charge as long as we hear from you 24 hours or more before the departure, either by replying to your confirmation or by writing to +90 536 603 75 84 on WhatsApp. The same number answers questions before you book.
The booking form uses three age bands: adults 13-99, children aged 4-12 at the child rate shown in the form, and infants 0-3 free. Guiding on the day is in English, German, Russian and Turkish.

In the jeep
The Side departure uses open-top 4x4 jeeps with 8-10 guests per jeep and a professional driver in every vehicle. Guests are passengers for the whole day; nobody is asked, or allowed, to take the wheel. On winter runs the convoy switches to covered jeeps.
Summer departures include water fights between the jeeps and stream crossings, so expect to get wet: bring a change of clothes, a towel and shoes you do not mind soaking. Sun cream, a hat and water are sensible on any date.
Who should think twice
The tracks are rough and the jeeps bounce. The day is not recommended for pregnant guests or for anyone with back or neck problems; if that applies to you or to someone in your group, tell us before boarding rather than on the first track.
The coast beyond Side
Guests staying east of Kızılağaç, in the belt from Okurcalar through Avsallar and Konaklı to Alanya itself, are served by the Alanya day on the Dim River, which has its own pickup list and its own route along the river and the dam.
If you are still deciding, or your hotel sits between two belts, the decision page lets you compare all five departures: Side, Alanya, Belek, the Antalya city belt and Kemer next to each other, with duration, pickup area and the character of each day.
This page states one price, in the answer at the top. To see how the Side price compares with the other four departures, and what the child rate is in each region, use the price page; it is the only page on the site that lists every figure.
